A global software company is seeking a Vice President (VP) of Development to lead their software development organization. The VP of Development will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the software development efforts, including managing the development team, driving product innovation, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. The role is accountable for multiple direct reports, ongoing and new projects, multiple products within a vertical-specific portfolio, and the strategic direction for the research & development team. This leadership role will drive success with a can-do attitude to drive innovation, change management, and solutions to the business. A strong business acumen is critical to success, as well as an ability to work in a matrixed organization to influence corporate direction.

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Software Development

Proven track record of success in a leadership role growing and developing their teams

Strong technical background in Software Engineering & Development (C#/.Net)

Experience spearheading journey from Monolithic architecture to Microservices environment

Experience in a distributed cloud environment with both public and private solutions

Proven experience building and operating an efficient CI/CD deployment organization

Experienced in Agile development methodologies

Comfortable with domestic travel and potentially international in future
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field

Prior experience working in SaaS or ERP software industry
