Job Summary

We are looking for a world-class engineering leader to manage a team of talented Machine Learning engineers to deliver cutting edge LLM, speech, and multimodal technologies to production. One must thrive in a fast-paced environment, where you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize performance and drive velocity. Leveraging cutting-edge techniques, you will play a vital role in our overall success in deploying state of the art AI capabilities all around the globe.

Responsibilities

Deliver cutting edge LLM, Speech and multimodal technologies to production while partnering with multiple stakeholders across product, compiler, platform and ML Research teams
Build and maintain well understood training and inference LLM methods for productization
Build and maintain application code used to run evaluations on various benchmarks
Improve developer productivity by driving process improvements via automation or other techniques
Build and maintain data processing utilities for LLM training

Skills & Qualifications

8+ years of experience in software engineering
3+ years in managing software engineering teams
Have experience with code review and helping unblock engineers by diving into technical details
Experience with PyTorch
Hands on experience with LLMs, Multimodal, and NLP applications
B.S, M.S. or PhD in Computer Science or a related field
People management experience: Coaching, performance evaluation, mentorship, career development
Project management skills: Prioritization, communicating across team/org boundaries

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of experience in a startup environment

Annual Salary Range and Level

The base salary for this position ranges from $190,000/year up to $215,000/year. This range is based on role, level, and location and reflects the salary target for new hires in the US. Individual pay within the range will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s job-related qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
